In this installment hosted by the German World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), one thousand ice sculptures of little people were arranged in the Gendarmenmarkt public square in Berlin to draw attention to the rapidly progressing Arctic climate change. It has been recently discovered that the polar ice cap is melting at rates far faster than scientists had previously predicted.
