Inspiration: The October of Liselotte Watkins

The first of October the annual campaign against breast cancer started and the first Pink Ribbon was sold. This year, the campaign ribbon was designed by the Swedish illustrator and artist Liselotte Watkins. Her wonderful pattern is not just shown on the ribbon itself but also on other products such as lip balms and wash cloths. (More about the campaign at www.cancerfonden.se)

On the 18th of October, the unique limited edition of Absolut Watkins by Liselotte Watkins, was “sneak” premiered. Absolut Watkins will be launched throughout the global duty free/travel retail market in January of 2011. It will have the taste of freshly ground coffee beans with a hint of almond, caramel and warm chilli. The artist describes Absolut Watkins as follows:

“With my bottle decor and the campaign imagery, I wanted to convey something of my own vision regarding the archetype of cosmopolitan glamour”
