Located at one of London’s finest historical hot spots, the Strand, the ‘Pick Me Up’ art fair brings together the most exciting spectrum of illustrators and graphic artists. First of its kind in the UK, the contemporary graphic art fair hit the creative scene in 2010 – making another show-stopping appearance in spring 2012.
When Adentity visited the funky fair, we picked
up on a distinctly retro feel from the weird and wonderful mix of expressive
artworks. The vast selection served up a visual feast, featuring everything
from 80s inspired illustrations and handdrawn typography, to surreal and
psychedelic designs. A studio atmosphere was created with daily workshops and
artists working live on their creations - inviting visitors to really see
behind the scenes.
