Australia’s largest private art collection is no longer private. With the opening of MONA in January 2011, the Tasmanian millionaire David Walsh puts his collection of antiquities, modern and contemporary art on public display.
The museum, which is located in Tasmania, guarantees an different experience with its extraordinary architechture, lack of structure and labeling, and with love/hate buttons opening up for immediate critique by the visitors.
