Berlin became home to the 2011
Fashion Week (5 – 10 July), where fashion enthusiasts the world over gathered
on this special day to celebrate the best of international fashion and
lifestyle. Tourists and experts alike enjoyed the many fantastic sights, not
least the sustainable ‘green’ fashion shows on offer throughout the week. This
reflects the widespread global effort to use renewable ecological materials and
to support sustainable development – clearly making an impact on the world of
fashion too. The Fashion week showcased the latest trends from all over the
world and hosted numerous shows, showrooms and parties.
