Quick will certainly give Star Wars enthusiasts
something to chew on with their quirky Star Wars-themed burgers, launched at the
end of January. The Belgium-based fast food chain, Quick, has just recently
created an advertising campaign around the release of three new burgers, the
Jedi Burger, the Dark Burger and the Dark Vador Burger - to coincide with the
re-release of ‘Star Wars: The Phantom Menace’ in 3D. In particular, the Dark
Vador Burger has sparked international media attention with its somewhat unsavoury
appearance. The buns of the burger are black, giving it a sinister resemblance
to the character Darth Vader.
But have no fear, a spokesperson for Quick
assured that the buns have merely been dyed - not burnt. The burgers are on
sale for a limited time only and for those that dare try – may the force be
with you!
