How do you promote a car that is claimed to be “invisible”
to the environment? By making it invisible to humans too! This might sound
bizarre but it is in fact very much true. The company’s researchers covered one
side of a Mercedes car with LED lights attached to a camera on the other side
making the car invisible in effect – seeing right through to the other side. The
hydrogen-powered Mercedes-Benz F-Cell produces 0.0 emissions, hence making it “invisible”
to the environment.
The campaign has already been an international
success on Youtube with a massive 8 million views since its release in early
March 2012!
