Joy is greatest when it’s shared.
Coca Cola knows this well. And in their most recent global campaign,
they’ve decided to give their bottles a little personalisation.
They picked out the 150 most common names in each country and printed
each of them on their bottles. In Sweden, it’s “Share a coke with Fanny” or
“Share a coke with Johan”, or Karolina, Emma, Phillip…
Simple. Yet genius. It’s got youths crowding around the coke machines
trying to find their own names or their friends’ names. And of course, in the
name of the campaign, they share it.
